HAVE YOU HAD YOUR DAILY DOSE OF CHUKKIM, EDUTH, & MISHPATIM TODAY!?!

In the Torah portion for this week, Shemini (Eighth/New Beginnings), On the eighth day, following the seven days of their inauguration, Aaron and his sons began to officiate as kohanim (priests); a fire issued forth from God to consume the offerings on the altar, and Yah’s divine presence came to dwell in the Sanctuary.

The Tabernacle of Moses was at it’s highest pinnacle of holiness. What happened next is the topic of our Adult Torah Study discussion, which will tingle the ears of those who hear this upcoming message.

The Death of Nadab and Abihu

The Application & Terrible Consequence of Last Week’s Message

LEVITICUS 10:1-3 ESV

Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each TOOK HIS CENSER & PUT FIRE IN IT & LAID INCENSE ON IT & OFFERED UNAUTHORIZED FIRE before the Lord, which he had not commanded them. 2 And fire came out from before the Lord and consumed them, AND THEY DIED before the Lord. 3 Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Among those who are near me I will be sanctified, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” And Aaron held his peace.
